A short film written and directed by Kaye Kittrell

"'Seems Like Yesterday' has a wonderful commercial appeal to it. It's soft and sensitive!" – Donna Newlin

My script, "Seems Like Yesterday," was awarded semi-finalist in the Ford Mustang Tell Your Story/Filmaka short film competition and 20 of us, out of 400 submissions, were awarded $5,000 and ten days to make our films.  The Ford advertising team at J. Walter Thompson had paired with Filmaka, a worldwide online network of independent filmmakers, to seek out new directorial talent.  Producer Romell Foster-Owens helped me pull it off.  In addition to Whip Hubley, my cast features the young actors Diandra Newlin, and Preston Jones, who is recently filmed a lead role in the feature sequel, "Road Trip II."  You can see all 18 of Mustang films at http://www.fordvehicles.com/the2010mustang/?section=mustang_films or click on the photo.  Click Mustang Talk/Stories & Films/Films.  SLY is second from left on second row.  "Seems Like Yesterday" will open in a pop-up window.
